What YOU Can Do

Many people, in their ignorance, do not realize the enormity of Global Warming, thinking it is just a minor thing.  Well, they should do some research. Here are some facts that will push that right out of your mind.

-Global Warming is the greatest scientific consensus ever.  (Did you know that?)

-Scientists say that the "tipping point", or when Global Warming becomes irreversible, could happen, if we don't do anything, within this generation.  Let's just say that that would NOT be good.

-The IPCC, (International Panel on Cimate Change) said in a 2007 report that it was "very likely" that humans were the driving force behind Global Warming.  (1)

-C02 is the main driver of Global Warming.

(2)

-All doubters say "Ummmmm.  Hey!!  Maybe we DO have a problem!!"                                      (Red is "Modern" data)

Effects

1) Global Warming could cause a mass extinction.  In the past, at CO2 peaks, There were some of the biggest mass extinctions ever.  Don't you think that this qualifies as a peak?! (See top and second-to top graphs) (5)

2) Water rise (See "The Fiction")

3) Increased Extreme Weather

Note: this is over sea temp, but compare the line to the temperature graph...  They both are going up.

4) The obvious... increased droughts.  If it gets warmer, there are more droughts.  Common sense.  Records are being made drought and temperatuer wise all over the place.  It may not be as big ov a deal in the US, but in poorer countries...(7)
